Shipping policy

Shipping costs are worked out at check out on standard items. Bulky or large items will state in their description if a carriage charge needs to worked out before an item can be sent. If it is one of these bulky items that you require then an email should be sent to clare@alittlebitofblighty.co.uk with your delivery address details and an appropriate delivery charge can be arranged and paid separately.

On some occasions the delivery charge on bulky items may be excessive of the cost of the items but confirmation, agreement of carriage charges and a payment of carriage charges will always be needed by the customer for the larger or bulky items to be sent out by these means.

On standard delivery items, items will be posted out if correct postage choice is made at the check out process. If the correct postage choice is not made then the customer will be contacted via email to clarify postage choices and make the correct payment for postage. A Little Bit Of Blighty is not responsible for the postage of goods if the wrong postage choice is selected nor for bulky large items if carriage charges are not met.

A Little Bit Of Blighty uses Royal Mail or Parcel Force to deliver the goods. Occasionally other companies maybe used. All items delivered by Parcel Force are tracked.

A Little Bit Of Blighty are not responsible for for goods damaged on arrival. If goods arrive damaged please see our returns policy.

A Little Bit Of Blighty are not responsible for goods lost in transit. If goods do not arrive please notify via email to clare@alittlebitofblighty.co.uk. We will start an investigation with the courier service and resolve as quickly as possible.

A Little Bit Of Blighty is not responsible if delivery is attempted by the courier service and the customer is not able to receive the parcel. On a failed attempted delivery it is the customers responsibility to make arrangements with the courier company for a second attempt of delivery or to make other necessary arrangements. If a delivery attempt is made several times then the parcel will be returned to A Little Bit Of Blighty. Delivery costs will not be refunded and a restocking fee of £2.50 will be charged before the refund of the item is given. It can be arranged for the parcel to be posted out again but all postage costs are chargeable to the customer. Where as an initial standard charge would have been applied on the first delivery actual delivery costs will be applied to any second postage costs incurred. Proof of postage cost will be available from A Little Bit Of Blighty on request.

As a company we often use recycled boxes for posting our goods. Therefore a box delivered may have a product logo or details on it that does not match the contents of the customer order. However, the order will be correct inside the box.
